TUR-TAPAS

Imagine how much more exciting it is to open a lunch box filled with lots of great flavours, colours and surprises instead of a boring packed lunch with the usual sandwiches. My tip is to pop into your local shop and see if they have any exciting locally produced cured sausages, cheeses or flatbread.

You can also see if you can find any half-empty packs of cold cuts, cheese and other goodies, then you'll be doing a bit of food rescue at the same time.

Suitable food:
– All cured meats and cured sausages
– Hard cheeses like chevre, brie, parmesan, manchego, regular yellow cheese in sticks
– Cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, cucumber, lettuce leaf, persimmon
– Walnuts, almonds
– Flatbread, savoury biscuit, potato cake, focaccia
– Olives, fine in their own small packets

Pack it either tightly in a container, or in a compartmentalised container so you can serve straight from the box.

Served in the snow wall, a snowdrift or snow castle, or wherever appropriate.

Good luck!
