Route description:
The path up to Hilleknuten mostly follows the ski tow to the top before turning left and passing Svartopstjødna. This tarn is used for artificial snow production. Hilleknuten lies 1209 metres above sea level and offers unobstructed views in all directions. Even so, this peak is only the 18th highest peak in Sirdal, which furthermore has the 25 highest peaks in Vest-Agder. From Hilleknuten you can continue around and down Jogledalen. This is longer, but not as steep.
