Kvæven - Haugen

Route description:
The entire 2.6 km stretch from Kvæven to Haugen is a gravel road. The terrain is gentle and well suited for pushchairs. The walking path has side paths that allow you to take different routes. At Haugen there is a café and a mini-golf course. Part of the path runs close to Sirdal Fjellgolf's 9-hole course. At some of the rest areas you can sit and watch golfers in their attempts to get the ball into the holes. At some of the rest areas you can see and study fine cultural-historical buildings and equipment, which were typical of the era when mountain haymaking was practised: a special millhouse that could also be used as a sawmill, a notched-timber building that stands open, and a hay barn without walls.
