Haugen Camping og Hytteutleie offers the rental of canoes, kayaks, children's kayaks, small rowboats and paddle boats.

At Sirdal Resort you can hire canoes throughout the whole summer. The canoes and SUP boards can be hired from the Høyt og Lavt Sirdal climbing park during the climbing park's opening hours. A canoe is suitable for a small family of 3-4 people and is excellent for a picnic or just a bit of fun paddling on the water or playing by the swimming area. 

Suleskard Fjellsenter has canoes for hire, for paddling out into the river mouth of Flatstølåna, and out to Ortevatnet. 

Sirdal Huskyfarm hires out canoes. These must be collected from them, or arrangements made for transport.
