Both Statskog and the Stavanger Trekking Association have several cabins in Sirdal and the surrounding mountain areas that are available to rent. These cabins are accessible both in summer and in winter. It is recommended to plan well in advance before setting off on a trip, and remember the mountain code.

Stavanger Tourist Association

Stavanger Touring Club is Rogaland's largest outdoor organisation with a massive 27,000 members. They organise both trips and courses, and run as many as 45 cabin facilities.

Statskog has cabins for rent throughout Norway. Many of these cabins are located in the upland areas around Sirdal. Here, visitors have access to enjoying Njardarheim up close.
