Hadvardshei

Route description:
From the upper car park of Ådneram ski lift, follow the road/ski trail heading down towards the mountain lift, take a right at the first junction, and follow the trail running along the south side of the tarn with the water jump. At the end of the tarn you will reach three converging trails, follow the middle one of these upwards. At the top of the hill, take a right and follow the trail to the top of the ski lift. Allow about 25 minutes to the top of the lift. Cross under the lift, and continue along a narrow path towards the northeast. Broadly speaking, you should follow the right edge of the mountain. After a short distance you will come to a small marsh, here you take a right down a small gorge, before once again ascending to the mountain edge, first through some small birch woodland, then straight across two small depressions.

After about a 15-minute walk, you round the mountain and turn north, first climbing a small mound from which you can see Rubedalstjødna on your left and Hassteinstjødn in the distance on your right. Walk down from the mound and cross the transverse valley before climbing the slightly steeper mountainside in a north-westerly direction. Where the path becomes less distinct, continue up the mountain ridge. It is advisable to keep slightly to the left and follow the cairns that lead you to a small tarn. Allow 25 minutes for this ascent. At the tarn, turn west. Cross the stream flowing out of the tarn and pass a connected small tarn. Just after passing a small scree, cross the east-west running stream valley. Hadvardshei is now just to your left; take the easiest route up to the summit, where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the Sirdal mountains.
