The walk starts at Langavatn Turisthytte.

Route description:
From Langavatn you head out in a south-westerly direction, towards Rundavatnet. Towards the end of Rundavatnet you cross two streams before starting a gentle ascent to 945 metres. From here it goes gently downwards to a tarn on your left-hand side. At the end of the tarn you pass a small dam, and you get a wonderful view of the beautiful and lush Blåstøldalen. The path follows the river as it meanders beneath the steep mountains, all the way to Blåstølen, 2 km further down the valley. At Blåstøl you pass the ruins of the old mountain farm buildings that were in operation here until the beginning of the 20th century. (from Langavatn to Blåstøl you can allow a good 2 hours). From Blåstøl you continue down the valley, having a nice view of the lush Litle Fidjadalen. At the next path junction you continue straight ahead in the direction of Blåfjellenden. You come to a sheep fence, use the stile to climb over this. Soon you see the cabins at Blåfjellenden, and there is a suspension bridge across Leitesåna to the cabins.
