Asvo Sirdal AS was founded on 15 January 1998 and is today a sheltered employment enterprise with 10 VTA positions (permanently adapted work). Dedicated production premises were completed in 1999. In 2016, a new building was also constructed, which is used for firewood storage. Asvo Sirdal is wholly owned by Sirdal Municipality.

Asvo Sirdal produces a varying range of products. Large quantities of firewood are produced every year, and the customers are mainly cabin owners in Sirdal. We have a sawmill for sawing timber, and our own carpentry workshop. Tables, benches, interior items and various custom orders are produced here. The company also has a handicrafts department, and carries out various services for private individuals and businesses in the local area.

«Kremmerhytta is Asvos's own shop. It sells self-produced goods, interior items, toys and stationery.»
