There are several great swimming spots in Sirdal. Several of them are located along the road, making it easy to stop for a cooling swim on a hot day.

Nesetfossen is one of the most famous swimming spots in Sirdal. Over many years, the water has carved out wonderful, deep potholes surrounded by majestic waterfalls. Here you can swim, jump, dive and explore the area for hours.

Another favourite is Øksendalsvatnet in Øksendal. A beautiful and lush part of Sirdal, featuring a great beach, with a toilet and volleyball court established by the local residents' association. 

There are also several great beaches in Sirdal, most of which are located along the river Sira. Among other places, you can find swimming beaches at Tonstad (Sirdal cultural centre and in Sirdalsvatnet), Lindeland camping, Tjørhom, by Ålsheia and Fidjeland.

If you are the adventurous type, you will also find countless lovely swimming spots in the mountains. Take a break along the Suleskarvegen road (Fv 987/337), Hunnedalen (Fv 45), Gyadalen towards Helleland (Fv 42) or the road to Kvinesdal/Evje (Fv 42).

Water parks 
Dive into the cooling and refreshing mountain water after a day filled with activities. Sirdal Summer Park you will find the first and largest water park in the whole of Sirdal. Here you will find obstacles and climbing rocks that are equally challenging and fun for both young and old. The park is completely free to use and all activity takes place at your own risk.

Near Sinnes Fjellstue and the roundabout at Sinnes, there is a water park in Sinnesvatnet. There are two elements, a wall and a «mat». Park on the opposite side of the road and Sinnesvatnet, towards Ålsheia. 

A fantastic bathing facility has been developed by the cultural centre and football pitches at Tonstad. Here you can either enjoy lazy days on the beach, or experience water fun in the water park.

Indoor swimming pool
Should the weather not be on our side, we have lovely indoor swimming pools. 
Sirdal Mountain Hotel Fidjeland has a lovely and inviting swimming pool for both hotel guests and others who wish to use it. 
Tonstadbadet have several pools, suitable for everyone. A small paddling pool for the very youngest, a pool for slightly older children, a wellness pool with a hot tub, and a training pool with a diving board and diving platform.
