We are ready for the highlight of the year! From Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September, the Sirdalsdagane fair is being held at Kvæven. It will be an action-packed weekend with entertainment, activities, competitions, market stalls and experiences for all ages, both young and old.
Tickets for Sirdalsdagane, the local revue on Friday evening and the concert with Onsdagsbandet on Saturday can be purchased in advance:
TICKETS FOR SIRDALSDAGANE 2026
On Saturday, there will be parking and bus transport from Ålsheia and Fidjeland Hotel. The buses will run as a shuttle service within the opening hours of Sirdalsdagane.
Parking costs NOK 50, and the bus transport is free.
What we know is that sheep are sheep – and the timing may therefore change. The plan is for around 2,000 sheep to come down from the mountain and arrive at Kvæven at approximately 14:00 on Sunday.
The sheep sorting starts as planned at approximately 16:00. Any changes will be announced during the event.

Friday kicks off the weekend with a golf tournament and local review. On Saturday, the Sirdalsdagane event itself opens at 10:00, with activities and entertainment throughout the day. The large marquee is open with food and drinks from 17:00, before Onsdagsbandet gets the party started at 21:30.
On Sunday, the event continues from 11.00 to 14.00 with market stalls, children's activities and the Trolljeger obstacle course. The day concludes with the sheep coming down from the mountain and the traditional sheep sorting at Kvæven.
