The hike starts from Tomannsbu Tourist Cabin.

Description:
From Tomannsbu follow the path to the south-west along Djupevatnet and then Kilen and Vassavollvatn. In the south-western end of Vassavollvatn, cross a creek and continue up the hill, to the south-east, continuing down towards a small lake. Follow this lake, keeping it on your left hand side, crossing another creek running out of this lake. As you pass through small groups of trees you will see the path part and you should take the right path until arriving at a small pond just below Blåfjell. By the end of this pond, cross over yet another creek, running into Ytra Skredåvatn. Continue along the eastern side of this water. Cross the creek coming down from Blåfjelldalen and continue up the western side of Møestrond. There will be an easy ascent, to around 725 meter, before you will go down a more steep hillside on the other side. Avoid the steepest hillsides, also during the descent. In the bottom of the U-valley you will arrive at two paths crossing, from here taking the path to the south-west through a narrow crevice. Even if it looks impossible to pass, you should find an old road that will take you to the other side, arriving at Øyestøldalen. Stølehytten lies by the end of this valley.
