The first part of this route goes up the steep forest road that crawls up the hillside on Lindeland. Expect to spend 20 minutes walking up the 200 meter elevation, towards the end of the forest road. When you get to around 400 meters above sea level, the forest road transforms into an old path for carriages. Follow this onwards until you arrive by a crossroad and take a left turn, proceeding to follow the marked path towards Midtstøl (southbound). After around 10 minutes the path will take a turn westwards, then southwest, so that you walk parallel to the crevice on your left hand. The path alternates between grass and rock, flanked by an old stone fence. After about a 20 minute walk the path will split
