Start:
The trip starts from Lyseveien, between Sirdal and Lysebotn. Park by the cabin in the bottom of Grydalen where the path begins.
Description:
The start of the trek is marked right by the cabin in Grydalen. Cross the river and continue northwards up the valley behind the cabin. After approximately 20 minutes of elevation the terrain should flatten and you continue along the creek, northwards towards Kjeringstøldalen. When arriving at Keringstøldalen continue north-east up the hill. At the top the terrain will flatten and you should take a turn to your left, up another hill, until you circle around the lake south of Svartetjødn. Continue the hike through the same valley and in the same direction as before, past Salomonsknuten. You will pass many spots with beautiful views over Sirdalsheiane. You should now cross a small plateau towards the north-east and it should be relatively easy to follow the terrain. When starting the trek downwards, towards Grauthedlar, the terrain will flatten and the Grauthedlarhytten will be situated right by the water.
