Both Statskog and Stavanger Turistforening have several cabins in Sirdal and the surrounding mountains, which are available for rent. These cabins are available both during winter and during summer. We recommend thorough planning in advance, before going for a hike.

Stavanger Turistforening

Stavanger Turistforening is Rogaland's largest organization for hiking and trekking with over 27.000 members. They arrange trips and courses and maintain 45 facilities.

Statskog has cabins for rent over the entire country. Many of these cabins are located in Sirdal and the surrounding area. Here you have the opportunity to experience Njardarheim up close.

The cabins that are offered come in different sizes andf they are best suited for larger families or groups, as well as small children. To gain access to these cabins you will have to contact Statskog, in order to get a key.
